Common Issues
Restoring purchases ("Go Ad-Free")
If you previously purchased "Go Ad-Free" and need to restore it on a new device or after reinstalling:
- iOS: Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase, then open the app and tap Restore Purchases.
- Android: Make sure you are signed in with the same Google account you used for the original purchase, then open the app and tap Restore Purchases.
If the restore doesn't work, try restarting the app and ensuring you have an active internet connection.
Daily Challenge not updating
The Daily Challenge refreshes based on your device's local time zone. If the challenge hasn't updated, check that your device date and time are set to automatic. You can also try force-closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, please email us at support@abilityshell.com with your device model and OS version.
Performance issues or crashes
If the app is running slowly or crashing, please try the following:
- Make sure you are running the latest version of the app.
- Restart the app and, if needed, restart your device.
- Check that your device has sufficient free storage.
If the problem continues, please email support@abilityshell.com and include:
- Your device model (e.g. iPhone 15, Pixel 8)
- Operating system version (e.g. iOS 18.2, Android 15)
- App version (found in the app's Settings or About screen)
- A brief description of what happened
